Leaving treatment is a big moment. You feel stronger and clearer, but you're also heading back to the same city, the same job and often the same pressures. That's when recovery gets tested, so at HRB aftercare is built into every programme from the start.

How we prepare you for home
Aftercare planning starts early, not in your last few days. Together we build a written plan that covers:
- Your triggers and warning signs: the people, places, feelings and situations that put you at risk, and what you'll do about each one.
- Your first weeks home: a realistic daily routine, how to handle work, and who knows you're in recovery.
- Your support network: family, friends, recovery meetings and professionals you'll lean on.
- What to do if things wobble: a clear plan for cravings, low days or a slip, so a stumble doesn't become a fall.
- Health and medication: handover to your GP or psychiatrist at home, with your consent.
Support after you leave
- Referrals at home: we connect you with counsellors, psychologists and support groups in your home country.
- Ongoing check-ins: regular contact with our team after you leave, structured with Nev around what you need.
- Ongoing sessions: if it helps, your aftercare plan can include continued sessions with the HRB team, agreed with Nev before you leave.
- Family support: helping the people at home understand how to support you without burning out.
- Recovery community: introductions to recovery meetings and peer support, in person or online.
Our 4-Week Outpatient Care Package
For anyone who wants extra support before flying home, our 4-Week Outpatient Care Package is a separate programme based in Bali. You live independently while continuing structured therapy and support with our team, a gentle bridge between residential care and everyday life. Learn more.
The tools you take home
Everything you practise at HRB is designed to work in real life:
- CBT and DBT skills for thoughts, emotions and cravings
- 9D Breathwork and mindfulness to calm your nervous system anywhere
- Movement, sleep and nutrition habits that keep you steady
- A relapse prevention plan written in your own words
Why aftercare matters
Relapse is most likely in the first months after treatment, when old routines and pressures come back all at once. Good aftercare doesn't guarantee anything, but it gives you a plan, people in your corner and a much better chance of making your recovery last.
And if a slip does happen, it doesn't erase what you've learned. It's information. We'll help you use it.
