Wayan Eka Sunya Antara, also known as Bimbim, is a Balinese man who has overcome his own struggles and is now dedicated to helping others. With his compassionate nature and infectious smile, he possesses a unique ability to assist people in need. Despite being a successful businessman, Bimbim’s life was once destroyed by addiction. However, through his journey of recovery, he discovered a passion for supporting individuals searching for purpose, personal well-being, and a life free from addiction. Drawing on his extensive experience in helping those battling addiction and mental health issues, Bimbim has found his calling in providing service to others. He started his journey by working at an NGO and has now risen to become the chairman of 10 mental health NGO services based in Bali.

At HRB, Bimbim serves as the manager and one of the counselors. He holds the certification of a National Addiction Counselor of Indonesia and is an active member of both the International Society of Substance Use Professionals and the Indonesian Addiction Counselor Society. Bimbim provides counseling services to clients in both Indonesian and English.
 

Bimbim has expertise in conducting both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, focusing on various areas of treatment including: anxiety and depression, addiction and substance misuse, relationship issues, self-esteem, communication.

David Elsey focuses on client-centred therapy, adapts to the clients’ model of the world for easy learning and embodiment. The resources and methods for David’s guidance are holistic in approach. From CBT and DBT to deep unconscious work, the focus is on Neuro-plasticity being the key to lasting change. David’s goal is to provide resources for a new mindset for life: One that accesses self-generated acceptance, clarity, satisfaction, effectiveness and relaxation.

Dr. I Gusti Rai is a psychiatrist with a modern style of thinking. He loves working as part of a team with a holistic approach.

Dr. Rai focuses on recovery models of treatment and has considerable experience with community-based psychiatric care. As our team psychiatrist and specialist in hypnotherapy and other modalities, his skills complement the HRB rehabilitation team for the best care of our clients. Dr. Rai also dedicates much of his personal time to furthering mental health care and services in Bali, Indonesia.

Nadya along with her beautiful wee daughter Anka, bring the family elements of love and nurturing into the HRB programs. Nadya is our onsite chef working closely with clients providing healthy eating and a nutritional diet plans.

With a professional background in hospitality and over three years of experience in the recovery field, Hilman brings a unique blend of empathy, service, and people-centered skills to support others on their journey. Passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces—both personally and professionally—Hilman continues to share strength and hope through lived experience and compassionate connection.

Julia is a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and have a strong passion for mental health, human behavior, and development. With experience in counseling, she actively contributes to psychological well-being through research, seminars, and hands-on support. She has worked as a behavioral therapist and peer counselor, providing psychological support and facilitating rehabilitation programs. Julia is also a committed volunteer, lending her skills to crisis helplines and mental health initiatives. With expertise in CBT, motivational interviewing, and psychosupportive techniques, she believes in the power of empathy, active listening, and meaningful conversations to create a positive impact on people’s lives.

Ketut is an integral part of Holistic Recovery Bali. He is fully dedicated to supporting the daily operations and is one of the most reliable team members when it comes to maintaining cleanliness and ensuring that clients feel comfortable with the accommodations provided.

As a driver and support worker, he will always accompany and provide support to clients, ensuring they have a comfortable and enjoyable recovery experience throughout the entire process. Sharing his recovery journey and reminding clients that recovery is something to Enjoy not Endure.

As the housekeeper, her role is to make you feel comfortable at all times. Not just with a warm smile, but by ensuring your space is clean and that you're supported with drinks, food and anything else you need during your stay.
